Those are exercised options being held for a later sale. This is usually done for tax purposes. The past several months there has not been any immediate turnarounds (exercised options and immediate sale) suggesting management is hold out for a better stock price.

It is hard to know how to interpret this, but I would suggest it is a subtly positive sign.

There had been a lot of insider selling of SNDK, but the last reported sale by an insider occurred on 22 April 1998. At that time an insider sold 20,000 shares at $22.25.
