Looks like I missed a good one...too bad.

There is still a lot of time left today and I will have another shot at this I think.

A bounce back to mid-60's and I would have a hard time not shorting it.....

Coug, I suspect that you are right as to what transpired

This market does not seem to want to go down

Looks like my spread strategy is not going to work unless something quite unexpected happens over the next hour or so. I would still be shocked if the OEX settles over 520--the OI at that strike was huge coming in this am -- don't know how much got closed out during the day, of course.

Yesterday's run-up, although I was not caught by it, has been a sobering experience. I had always thought that with a disciplined use of exits one would not get caught too badly--but it shows that in certain circumstances that might not work-- and that is rather bothersome at some level.

I'd have felt real bad if anyone who I know got caught in this bind.
