Re: Microsoft On the other hand, it's easy to imagine many ways in which MS products and particularly desktop OS could be MUCH better. The lack of competition isn't helping much. Notice how Excel hasn't changed since the days of Improv. (Anybody remember Improv??) It may be that the roadblocks were products of your ignorance, but wouldn't you agree that at a minimum, an augmented internal help system could prevent these debacles or at least assist users in acquiring the requisite knowledge? The help system in Windows is circa 1990 ... I'm astounded no one has really complained about it.
