This baby's alive and breathing. I did gasp when I fired it up and got absolutely nothing the first time. I had plugged the monitor into the AGP card and the MB was defaulted to display on a PCI slot. Dont' know if this is normal but caused a bit of alarm at first. Trial and error led to switching the monitor to the PCI slot and voila...picture of things working. Win98 installed and started w/o a hitch.

I have gone trough six of the major books on NT Workstation 4.0, and the best one, IMHO, is "Windows NT Workstation 4.0 UNLEASHED," 1998 edition, ISBN #0-672-31081-3, by Sam's Publishing. I have read a few of the Sam's series of books, and like them quite a bit.

Haven't checked the online sites for it, as I got it at Barnes/Noble at the corner.<g> List is $49.99. Comes with a CD full of tools.
