Craig,

Commercial slowed for quite awhile. Cranes became an endangered species instead of a common sight. But.. Ross Perot's Legacy Developement was bringing in HQ relocations from NY, like JCP. Electronic Data Systems was hot. Las Colinas was big with IBM and GTE. Richardson's Telco co's were thriving. Digital Switch Corp was in its prime. Texas Instruments . .The industry mix is different here. While commercial slowed, housing paced industry. All this while maintaining zoning. LOL! maybe zoning works? It's amazing all the telco's in the telco corridor.

Houston's great when I can't get a hotel in Galvaston. :^)
