Thean, about your PC problems. Perhaps you should consider an Apple? I've been with 'em for more than 10 years. Never a problem. Currently run a Centris 610. Ancient, but works great. I've considered buying a PC, but after adding your experience to what I already know about chronic PC problems I'm sticking with Apple. I'll be buying a new one within the next 6 months.

Steve, I think your assessment of GLM and OSX going forward is pretty realistic. GLM being the top cap company in this group it has one of the lowest beta. If one believes the weakness is over and wants to load the boat GLM is not the one to do it. Pick something like FGII, RON or the land drillers instead.

As to the "Guerilla trading tactics", well you know the strategy. The odd of being a straight-forward bull or bear and expect to collect some good hits in the next 6 months is no more than 50:50. But being a guerilla trader - by selling too early - one should raise that odd to 70:30. My motto is very simple - if they want to mo, mo with them. The only scenario that one should buy and hold is the scenario of summer 1997 where the sky appears to be the limit in dayrate rise. The precurser to that scenario is a stabilizing oil price above $18.

Thanks to all who offer helps on my PC problem. I'm following James's advice of running BMC diagnostics first. If I need to strip down everything and reinstall more than once, DELL can have the computer back. <GG> Anyone has any problem with GTW's recent win98 computers? For some reason DELL guys get very defensive when I mentioned about GTW. GTW must have something better than them I think. Steve - did you get a barebone no-brand computer from the local store? A no name computer that actuallly works well is actually very appealing to me right now. Switching to Apple is not a choice for me. No games, no fun.
