Re: fuddy-duddies This is a variation on the theme being sung in the London experiment. I think I hardly need to argue to YOU folks that the Net is not a fad, and will in fact, in the not too long term, have a sociological and economic impact greater than television, and possibly even the automobile. Does the fact that Microsoft will undoubtedly play a large role (in fact, IS playing) in any such impact scare you? <g> And AOL? History is being made here and now, gentlemen. I wonder how high school textbooks will describe this era, 30 years hence ... Perhaps nothing material. After all, how much do high school textbooks say about the evolution of the automobile? Nothing material.
