You make valid points about the reasons why a fund is in stocks.

However, the other side of that is that there are many small investors that have been sold a bill of goods then. Many believe that funds will protect them against a stock market correction because they have a "professional" managing their money. It still seems like a catch 22 to me. BTW, I have followed Foster Friess (even if I cannot spell his name) for a while and I believe that is one guy that knows his stuff. The recent event, if it did indeed take place and now I believe it did as you seem to write as if you read it somewhere, notwithstanding. I should check up on him and find out what he has been up to.

How was Seattle? You haven't really mentioned the dirt here....oh, yeah, no off topics...well discuss the details of the Neural Net thing...:)
