Come on, gc, you have not stated any facts that form a basis

for your forward-looking opinion. There are no facts for 'everyone to see' which would indicate a very bearish opinion.

I am an acknowledged long-term bull and fan of this company. They are in great financial shape, they have great products and are doing very well in the market thank you very much. And they have good prospects going forward relative to the competition.

All we are asking is what is in the tea leaves to indicate that PSFT is going to have further bad news to lead to things getting worse than they are right now. I do not believe such things are there 'for everyone to see'.

Maybe I am dumb here and am missing something. Tell me the facts you think I am ignoring. I will be more than happy to look at contrary facts (maybe you can change my opinion), but I will weigh all the facts and then have an opinion as to whether the future looks brighter or dimmer.

BTW, I do think it is going to take some time for the world to turn around again. I suspect last week's market euphoria will not in itself carry us into another long bull run. Just my feeling based on the past.

Remember, even you, one of the biggest bears on PSFT this year, did not think it would get this bad. If you had the faith at the IPO, don't you have faith now when PSFT is in these doldrums? I do recall you thought you wouldn't get back in until mid-1999 because you thought it wouldn't do much until then. So it doesn't sound like you really expect the future to be bad for PeopleSoft (or you wouldn't be ready to get back in).

Anyway, I know I am not going to turn you into a bull and you are not going to turn me into a bear. That is not the point - just help me with the facts - I don't want to have blind loyalty.

As Ronald Reagan was fond of saying, there you go again. What facts?
