And of course the good thing about it is that it isn't a permanent record so you can go back and change it. The pesky things with those Business Wire things is that once published they stay published. They get picked up and indexed by search engines everywhere, and everyone can still see them months later so they are harder to remove from the record or to change to suit your purposes. Gives a company a lot more control and a lot less accountability. It's really a good idea.

The web site information is just that, information. It does not take the place of a more formal news release, nor is it meant too. I don't believe the motive is to save a $1. You will notice on the web site that is at the top. There are a couple of lines that connect you to actual News Releases. The news releases go out to the general public. The web information update are geared more for persons that want to keep up with the immediate company actions that may not be of broad interest to the general public. So, if a plan changes, they can be easily updated. And for those skeptics, you can always print & save & post at some further date. Of course, you already knew this, right? Roger
