Fred trades Rydex, his opinion is more valid than mine.

The Rydex Funds (Ursa and Nova are the ones I have in mind) are keyed to the trader who just wishes to play "Black" or "Red" on a Roulette Wheel in a casino. Up or down. I think that is the basic charter, that Ursa is a bet on the market moving generally South and vice-versa for Nova.

I'm not a Fund watcher in general. My opinions on Brandywine were just opinions and are not the result of experienced Fund tracking. I did have an inkling several years back to trade the markets in part by creating a switching ability between Nova and Ursa but discarded the concept in favor of just trading Futures.

On another topic, a couple of interesting remarks in a newspaper more known for Sports News than Business Opinion.
