Agreed. But that is entirely a function of their management talent. Assuming that 3DFX would replace DIMD's management with their own picks, or bring them under strict oversight...this could be a huge win-win. It would have to be a pure buy-out/take-over...not a merger. If 3DFX rules the management roost...just think what they could accomplish with DIMD's retail channels and marketing strengths.

Thanks for the info. Talk about a difference in personalities. Jeez. I don't think It'll happen unless it's hostile and 3dfx intends to give current management the boot (long overdue) and kick out all the non-profitable products.

From a strictly fundamental standpoint 3dfx stands to make serious money. From a logistical standpoint, they could be entering a nightmarish waste of resources and time.
