Maurice, what you are saying sounds good in theory, but in practice, it certainly seems not to work that way; at least, I haven't seen any examples in which it does. The increase in price is not sustainable and you've got the same problem as you did before, only now all the stock-holders are mad at you. It appears to me that if, as you say, buyers are evaluating the future earnings of a potential investment, if they find them to be attractive, then they buy and the price will go up. If they don't, the price goes down, reverse split or not. I still don't think a reverse split for TCLN would help the company or shareholders achieve their goals for a sustained increase in price.

Regards, Bob

Maurice,

"You sure that's a good translation?"

I'm pretty confident that my Spanish is good. Check your dictionary or try the Altavista Dictionary as a last resort:

babelfish.altavista.digital.com

Natura is Nature in *old spanish* and in this case stands for *natural ability*, otorga = grant/ give. The point being that if you don't have (in the Salamanca story) *intelligence* Salamanca (The University of Salamanca that is) will not...

I really don't want to get into this again. I somehow resent you telling me to sell or not my shares given the fact that, as I understand from your posts, you have already sold your own. At least my money is on the line here.

My point is that serious energy should be spent trying to really improve the core of the operation of this company rather than trying to fool investors with arbitrary valuations and trickery. With no change in the fundamentals the valuations that we all want will not hold.

Take TSRG, a few months ago at 3/4 - 1 it was about to be delisted.
After a 4 to 1 split a few months later we are at..7/8. The result?:
Shareholders took heavy losses, delisting is knocking at the door once again...and the price is the SAME.

This is my final note on reverse splits. I've just about had it and I think I am speaking for other thread participants as well. Don't take this badly, otherwise I appreciate your posts and wish you and your family well.

VD

Please stop the nonsense. Reverse splits have been beaten to death, won't happen and STOP!!!!

Most people I've recommended TCLN to, atleast the ones who are still talking to me, asked their broker for a comment and the most common reply was "ARF, ARF". Why? Seems like the company's fundamentals are not there, atleast not yet, some might believe never will be.

Think anyone will change their recommendation just after a reverse split? NO!! We will just have to slog it out and fight to gain the respect(read SHARE PRICE) we think a cure for cancer deserves. News of trial results and deals with major pharms are the only thing strong enough to tow this one out of the ditch.

Also, remember that everyone knows splits are a huge step in tooting your own horn, being generous enough to keep a share price down where the little people can buy it. While the logic might not pass your test, a reverse is seen as the last gasp of a dying dog, no if and or buts, so please find another tune.

Over on Yahoo there was mention of Thorpe's research in a few papers, even the AP, maybe that's the start of Rubensteins attack.
