Mel.. Yes, I remember something like that. Although,

I think the poster had a hotlink to an article if I remember right, and the article didn't seem to give accurate picture. I could be wrong on this.

Anyway, PeopleSoft Select (or 'PS Lite') is the product and has its own sales division, etc. It is not as feature rich, but I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know the specifics. I know they are working (have worked) on ways to implement it quicker for a lower cost. Maybe I'll look into it closer at San Fran. I am curious to know the major differences between LIte HRMS and the full-blown package.

I now remember (perhaps better) that the PS Select did not have product offerings for the full PS suite. In other words, they had not yet developed Select versions of every system which has a full-blown version. This may still be the case.

And the term ERP typically does not include HRMS and is not normally used to refer to just a GL product. So, I guess an interesting question is how many systems have a Select version and when will other systems follow on?
