Hi Jack, Ten years ago I didn't realize how important it would be to try to match stock selection to the AIM method. It's important not only to pick great companies, but it's also important to consider AIM's "personality" at the same time.

Good stocks are the main ingredient, however. VTSS wasn't my own "discovery" stock. I used to own Cray Computer (Seymour's last attempt at super computer design, using Galium Arsinide chips) and had learned about this non-silicon based semiconductor material. One of the Board members back in my Prodigy days had come across VTSS as a pure play in GaAs. The stock was under $5 at the time and I bought 1000 shares to see how it might do. The company was very tiny - less than $25 Million in sales/yr.

After a year of AIM trading the stock in a tight range ($3.50 to about $6) I bought a pile more. 4000 shares were added to the portfolio at essentially the same price as my original purchase. Within 6 months the stock was starting its incredible run that it's maintained for several years.

I'm planning on owning the stock for at least 3 more years and will be re-evaluating it all along the way. My hope is that they can maintain their technical lead in the fast semiconductor field for closer to 5 years more. I'm afraid there's no way to know what might come along as a competing technology looking that far ahead.

I'm glad you enjoyed the picture show! It's nice when one of your stocks leads the way for the rest! I'm hoping the rest of my portfolio learns how to do it from VTSS!!!

Best regards, Tom
