Philips, long time no see...

>> Wrong. The Internet is the ideal media for small file distribution. <<

I already said that but floppy is still a must as not all PC has internet access, especially in some working environment. Some of our departments explicitly ask not to install internet access for 1) security reason. 2) avoid people browsing for personal reason during working hrs.

>> >>This occur when you see major PC box maker sell PC without floppy.<<
>> iMac <<

I said PC, I meant IBM PC. iMac is consider a niche market (a successful one) but don't you see many analysts' negative opinion about iMac's floppyless decision?

>> Kind of late? Oh, ok. Inherent advantages...like LS-120 perhaps? I hear they are selling like CRAZY! <G> <<

Ignorant attitude didn't prevent IOM fell to $4.00 from $12.00. IOMers must know their problem and derive appropriate action to maintain profitability. It is possible even if HiFD success because there are already 18 million Zip users out there.
