Christine, in response to the article Duncan published, I began wondering how people of his elk would react if gangs of homosexuals began murdering Republicans.

I bet that new tougher hate crime laws would get pushed through the Senate and the House, plus the legislatures of the remining twenty or so States, faster than an impeachment bill.

As for those jet setting homophobes, I wonder how they treat the gay male flight attendants they must frequently encounter on their cross country gayraids.

best wishes

You must be getting to used to that 3D stuff...Oct. 19th...geez.

Hi,

Do you recall my asking if you knew anything about General Mills promoting an idea known as "Box Tops for Education"?

I emptied another box of my usual breakfast food, and while looking for the UPC (Wheaties is offering three golf balls with so many UPC's per sleeve, limit 4 sleeves), I happened to notice that the box had more details on the promotion running into the year 2000.

This is what it says on the side of the box:

Collect Box Tops
Encourage students, families and other members of the community to clip and collect Box Tops logos on participating General Mills products (all cereals, snacks, and Yoplait multipacks). Look for them on our participating packages!

Send Your Box Tops to School
Have everyone in your community turn in the Box Tops logos to your local K-8 school. Your school mails them to General Mills.

Receive a Check
General Mills issues your school a check. The more logos, the more cash!

Guess I'll be saving them again.
