Rich: Tava's reports from the field indicate that the rate of failure of embedded chips depends on the type of system that's being assessed. A refinery has a different expected rate of failure than a food factory, for example. So it's good news that the overall rate of failure might be lower than thought. But it doesn't lessen the threat to vital systems like electricity, petroleum supplies, transportation, etc.
