Matt,

Good buy on that COMS this morning! You're already
in the profit margin :-)

>>BTW, alot of press I read over the weekend were talking about world banks getting their feet back on the ground and this should help world financial markets.<<

Thanks for the info. This was a rough weekend and I didn't get
a chance to read up on world banks as much as I wanted to. I
think this is a big key, since G-Span has a whole lot more room
to ease, and I'm sure he'll use it if needed. Plus Germany
and the rest of Europe will be under pressure to ease also. This
may signal the beginning of recuperation in the E.Asia markets
and devaluation in Brazil and other places will be much less likely.

BTW...tomorrow, Brazil has possible plans on how they'll handle
their fiscal policy and possible devaluation. I will be watching
this carefully, but they should be allright since there is
tremendous coordination between US, IMF, and Brazil.

One thing I am worried about, is that as the banks report, we
are learning the extent of the damages (losses) in some
of the major banks and other hedge funds. My feeling is that
as bad as it is, the main thing is that it is now contained
and there's enough fear around to take care of the problem.
We'll see....

joe

PS...My SI connection is slow this morning.
