Darrell: Did you read the article? The guy thinks there will only be 1,000,000 DSL modems in place by 2000. If that is the cast forget about it. I can't imagine that the public and even the glacial RBOC's will be that slow to adopt DSL and all the great prospects it brings with it for both the consumer and the telcos. I think the cable cos. have the telcos sufficiently energized to see the RBOC's start to really push here. In short I think this guys estimates are way low.
