again, I find this very interesting, for this is our method of operation for better than 10 years .....
=======> The interesting hypothesis one presented was to load de boat on variables....then test by removing one at a time to see how it affected the model---working your way down to the variables that "mattered".

and I don't think the subject matter (bond, SPX, OEX, individual equity, etc ......) has any bearing on the outcome .... that's just my opinion .......
the outcome
depends on the data base
and the ability to "examine" with backtesting ....

Heck, we got it to work with horses, and the SPZ is easy compared to that ............ gggggggg
