Oh bunk. I don't have to convince anybody of anything to make a profit. People who sell short aren't trying to "manipulate" the price any more than someone who goes long. Either stance is just a position nothing more.

By historical measures IBM is overpriced. Could they invent something that makes them a world-beater and brings earnings and revenues up to the point where 138 would be fair value (in my mind -- that's all that really matters for my trading isn't it?)? Yes.

Have I seen anything liek that up until now? No.
