Hi Jim , I think SV's 4Q upgrade was to stop a expected selloff

Plus things have changed with the Fed easing . CIBC's lowering IBM to a "buy" was half-hearted Opts expiration move which fizzled .

Seems to be a lot of buying strength in IBM.

The G5's added to a service increase should propel it for a few weeks but the Clinton factor with tax selling is a coming unknown .

FWIW , near term IBM should cross $140 with ease .
