HRS would be willing to sell ... I don't know. I might guess that Harris is mostly aftermarket gadgets and I think ETN would want OEM agreements.

Also, I don't know.
Semiconductors were always small potatoes to ETN. They got in the business by buying industrial control companies that just happened to have some semiconductor products. They have been backing out of the business by dropping one product after another for several years. I keep expecting them to sell off the whole division to someone. I would guess the division adds a few dollars per share to ETN.
