<way undervalued and is a great takeover play for COMS,ASND,TLAB,CSCO> Yes, most analysts and most investors here do not understand the value of Ciena technology. It's not your everyday common networking router switch company, it's the technology leader in the very important bandwidth expansion area. Not a single data networking companies own this technology nor are they expect in this DWDM technology. There are tons of companies that can do layers 2-3-4-5 switching, wire-speed routing, label swagging and tagging_along technology, but very few that have the technology to do the low level efficient optical wave division multiplexing; in fact CIENA is the only one that is shipping its product in field-tested production mode. IMHO, It's time to get in before it's too late. Ones that sold out at lower prices, time to get back in to recoup the lost.
