David J: Japan did not have the baby boomers who were pouring savings into the market.

Do you think the US Baby Boomers are saving better now, than the Japanese were in the late eighties?

And do you think the Japanese were not putting a considerable sum of their savings in to equities?

And, how much money do you think Boomers will have to spend if they start loosing jobs in bulk?

I realize we (Boomers) are pretty darn great, but heck... a reality check is due on occasion!
