I planted my tomatoes the 1st of October. I am hoping to get a few. There is one the size of a golf ball and about a half a dozen more on the way. I know it is a bit late to start..its pushing it even for S Calif.

Are you saying you might be a procrastinator or is it normal to plant tomatoes in Southern California in the fall to get a winter crop?
