Apparently, NT service pack 4 has been released.

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/bussys/winnt/winnt-public/fixes/usa/nt40/ussp4/Readme.txt for the readme file,

mssecure.www.conxion.com for the location of the download.

That location still shows it as being the downoad for Serv Pack 3, but if you go through the hoops, you begin downloading the correct file, nph-ntfinal.pl.

There are instructions in the readme file for saving the correct name, or changing the name once it's saved.

I read somewhere that the download is close to 80MB, but the one I am seeing is not showing the ultimate size. I'll just leave it on all night, since, as you might imagine competing with everyone else, looks like I'm getting a whopping 1.2KB/sec. I should have it by the weekend.<g>

Good luck, and wait til I'm DONE.

Len

>add a slot 2.259 processor<

Your bus x slot z examples make a great deal of sense. It would seem the add-on cards, case and power supply have more staying power than the mother board CPU and memory. Staying with the BH6 for this project.

Thanks.
