Scumbria , my apologies re. Intel tinted glasses The challenge for CPU designers is to make a CPU core that provides superior performance before L2 cache is added . K6 + K7 are such designs IMHO , Brian PS the 350mhz on Pricewatch has dropped again today now $161 down from $172 . This is not as someone claimed due to the greymarket , it must indicate a large supply of 350mhz coming on the market . Also the 380 + 400 mhz chips now have an entry on Pricewatch .
