That's $8.7M/200M shares = $0.04 per share right there that he is bagging for future quarters.

Just remember, you can only count on this $$$$ if/when they get paid. James Cramer has a writeup on theStreet.com about the junk financing market being very tough right now which is probably why Ascend had to get into the "financing" business to get this deal through.

The rest of ASND's quarter looks pretty solid.

So you're saying, they write off now as one time and include it later in the normal reports? I don't think so.

I believe Ascend is a strongly growing company. But, if they are a strong company, why it has to finance the unknown company to get the deal? They took a reserve against it this quarter, does it mean that it will be bad debt? I don't understand why they have to do it.
