Doug: Thanks for the information. According to Jim Switz, Adaptec has used radio ads in the past, but it could use more general public recognition. And now with its CD software (including VideOh!) for both PCs and Macs, it has a product worth advertising to the general public. CD R/W appears to be developing a market and the drives are speeding up (x4 write). I, too, am considering buying one.
