Yes, I doubt they're looking for input from the GPM thread -g- ... only looked around for a few minutes bcra.gov.ar but don't see any email addresses at all. Here's the story on Reuters biz.yahoo.com - banco$ is right, it's a coin sale, although they do threaten to melt it down and flog it as bullion if nobody wants it as is. They sold their bullion last year.

This sort of thing seems to come up first on biz.yahoo.com

Why not ask the CB, in English, if this is an invitation to launch a speculative attack and plunder their currency reserves. That should get their attention. Many presidents and bankers in South America are Harvard grads. anyway and should have no problem understanding your letter.
