Actually, Buckley said that everyone named as a communist spy either lied about their affiliations or was later proved to be one. I welcome his new book. As for Hollywood, Buckley also stated that there was far more retribution against actors and writers who did what they thought was right in exposing the significant, subversive communist presence there. There is no doubt that communists had an organized effort to take over Hollywood unions and use the film and television media to further their propaganda. I welcome an examination of this era of US history because once again the Left will be shown for what it is and was. The truth is always their enemy.
