I think this is for real. Once Veba voted with an additional $100 MM, it was clear that bankruptcy is out of the question. I also think that the last quarter must be much better then it was anticipated, and that they may turn back to profitability two quarters before we thought they would (possibly during the second quarter next year). Nevertheless, the doubling in such a short period could bring some profit taking. The resistance I see is at 6.125 to 6.375 which i think would be another opportunity to get in. Unless the SOX turn tails, I doubt that we will see sub $5 before we see the teens.

Another possibility might just be that after so many years of a "vicious bear" market for the chip companies, we're now seeing the transition to only a "bear" market for chips.

Things have looked so bad for so long that it's difficult to recognize the turn until long after it's already happened.
