I am laughing because I literally wrote an e-mail to Ancor yesterday asking if Veritas' involvement with some of the other FC fellows would prevent them (Ancor) from trying to work with them. I guess i got my answer only a day later. ;-) Veritas seems to be connected to everyone though (I believe brocade, vixel, etc...but am not positive). all imho pigboy

Kerry, Ancor's apparent involvement with Veritas is VERY good news. I have long thought that this was one of the missing links in Ancor's strategy. It appears as if they are in the process of correcting that oversight. Veritas is quickly emerging as the leader in SAN software. Ancor needs to leverage that leadership position. Craig

Kerry, Veritas is in a strong partnership with SUNW. I am pleaSANtly surprised to see the MKII-8 as the switch dejour in the Veritas booth. I am not reading anything into that except I think it is nice that Ancor is able to penetrate places I had figured were exclusive deals for Brocade. I see both Ancor and Brocade are presenting at the Veritas conference. Inrange paid Ancor 9M and they aren't even in the demo. Makes me wonder how big this whole thing is getting. Steve
