Hi Scott, your post 73250. I hope you are right, I bought a truck load today for the long haul. When do we see the pre-earnings run??

Why so weak today, considering earnings is just around the corner??

Peace

In fact, Piper Jaffrey has not made any new comments on DELL
since the analyst meeting in Texas. The last posting on DELL was made about 24
hours ago and it was quite positive.>>>>>

Not true..at least that is not what traders thought about Piper's comments

unless you are saying that Piper made no such statement about concerns over 99 and the sell off was just due to a figment of someone's imagination

consider this...how many times have you heard concerns about dell from analysts with no sell off....it seems people are willing to sell THIS TIME based on one person's comments??????? that should say something about the strength of Dell

More CNBC fun...

Princess Maria saying that Pipper-Jaffray stated concerns about DELL meeting '99
sales quotas... "This was the cause for DELL's slump and the overall technical
slide... Oop, this just in over the wire, 'DELL says that sales are strong and sees
no recession.'"

I can rest easy tonight knowing that the market drop -- caused by DELL -- was
unsubstantiated (as refuted by DELL).
