Robin, as you are a student I am very glad to see that you got some money out today. The posts on the thread are very concerned about the short term stock price outlook. Peoplesoft stated revenue in 1999 will grow between 25-35%. This is a dramatic drop from historical growth rates.

I was not saying that PSFT would drop 30-40%, just that people using margin should be ready for that type of event and that it should not cause them to lose everything. For the record, I have a margin account but I usually have some shorts offsetting the longs.

Good Luck.

Paul

By the way, I may be the luckiest person around these day. Bought PSFT on Friday at 22 1/2, sold at the open this morning at 26 9/16 (great price), and put in a buy order at 23 1/16 this afternoon that didn't fill.
