also can get account set up over the phone..very convenient...have 800 number to call to check quotes and place orders at same cost (i think) as online. i like them.

It looks like a stock coop that handles IPO's with no minimum.
You can trade stock amongst members for free. The cost per trade when the online brokerage service is available is 20.00, same as DLJ.
If you buy an IPO from them they want you to hold it for 60 days. If you sell before 60 days, a 5% penalty is accessed. The company discourges day trading and promotes long term investing.
