TNT and other OEM prospects...

A quick look around shows me that ATI Rage Pro and the Riva ZX are the widely accepted OEM cards right now. (I scanned the top 5.) As a matter of fact, I think Voodoo2 may be standard on more SKUs than TNT. I didn't count, but I sure saw them as standard more often. I didn't really check the optional equipment.

I think this TNT gloom and doom thing is way out of hand. Shopper.com shows that Voodoo2 has been moving up lately and maintaining is lead (ahead of even TNT) in the retail market for which it was intended.

Banshee is targeted directly at ATI Rage Pro and Riva ZX because of its low price point. Frankly, I would be very surprised if those two cards remain our main options for the Christmas season. With all the new technology on the table something has to give. The lack of any announcement does have me concerned though.

Dennis, sorry about the violent reference- decide to throw the "I'm kidding" disclaimer in to make it clear I was kidding. No I am not an insider.

TDFX could not buy CREAF. So the only purpose to buy their stock would be as an investment. If they were to send me the signal that CREAF was a better investment than TDFX (which it is in the short term IMHO) by buying CREAF stock...well, surely you understand why I would be so upset.
