As if to echo my sentiments, here's a Q&A from Nextgen... Q: The rundown on the players' positions in November was interesting, but you didn't mention anything on the PC Hardware market. Will 3DFX take dominate with Banshee/SLI VooDoo2 or will nVidia's TNT and OEM PC deals put it on top? How do the prospects look for the rest (Intel, Matrox, S3, etc)? A: Right now, 3dfx has penetrated the PC market for add-in 3D cards to the tune of 85% marketshare (according to a white paperwe just read). While it might lose ground this Christmas, it is unlikely to be toppled anytime soon. Pat
