Stephen - Interesting post on Nortel product allowing audio conferencing and data collaboration via the Internet. As an attorney, I am required to attend about 3 CLE seminars a year. These usually take me out of the office for an entire day with expense for parking and meals etc. In the near future, I will be able to attend these seminars in my office via the internet. I have already participated in seminars on the telephone which actually allowed questions from the participants but there was no visual aspect except for the brochure sent to me ahead of time. Now, the speakers can post charts and data on the computer screen and get feedback from the participants actually there and those at a remote location. This is really an example of networking products "removing the constraints of time and distance." Just think of the applications for education.
