Richard, I think that in step 2 and 3 we do not get all the goodies in solution. If we did, there would be absolutely no reason to smelt it again. If you have the goodies in solution, there exist chemistries to selectively precipitate what you want or chelate the goodies and so concentrate them. Furthermore, if they are in solution, it surely should be easy to detect these via AA at this step and see how "reproducible" the first step is and thus get rid of one of the onion's layers for good.

In the meanwhile, the news just caused the stock to hit a new low on both the bid and the ask. $.25, here we come.
