You're right about bmcs. It's not one of the stocks I follow or own.

With that said, I think that one of the big problems PSFT is going to face going forward is how to regain the trust of the investment community. In hindsight, they would have been far better off had they not had that conference call.

Tony, I just briefly took a look at bmcs after realizing that it did, in fact, move up after the first day drop.

What I found was thata bmcs doesn't seem to be a comparable situation to psft. It appears to me that bmcs had an excellent quarter and the issue was one of analysts (again) coming up with some of their own conclusions based on deferred revenue. I don't have time to thoroughly check this out so if there is more to it, please let me know.

From what I can see the earnings report was positive as was the future guidance given by the company.....
