Far from it--just my read for now

Re the big drop for next week, I think that Favors, Fred's guy and your guy are saying the same thing and so I'd say that we will see some sort of a major move around then -- but it could be an inversion that occurs.

I went short a bit too soon--and may have to close out the trade if it does not come together soon.

Bev,

I was a bit surprised that when the TICK got as low as negative 100 the DOW was only down 55.

On the reverse side, when the TICK just went into positive territory the DOW is not really moving up that much.

I think we could close flat (plus or minus 50 points). If the market does sell off stronger intraday, I am expecting a dip buying to step in, not to allow the DOW close too much in negative territory.

My strategy, Bev, is to take advantage of a small drop and do it again for the bigger one.

Of course I could miss the whole thing. :)
