Steve, <<I don't think it is wise to doubt God!>> Why do I always get the impression you think you are unique, when of course I don't know any body who would dispute that statement. The issue is whether the Bible is absolutely the whole truth and nothing but the truth and no other sources need be consulted. Biblical scholars generally agree that there is much more to it that the surface reading of the KJV can lend. You present your self as a Biblical scholar so you would be an exception to that general rule. Now Steve, lets say I'm retarded, or learning disabled. So, when you read to me from the Bible, or when you preach to me about it; I misunderstand or misinterpret what you are saying. If I stand on the word as it was delivered and insist I know 100% that it is the truth, then knowledge of God that I am referencing to the Bible and calling 100% the truth is what? You are preaching, don't doubt the Bible. OK then it would be unnacceptable to ask questions about things stated in the Bible that don't seem right from my way of understanding it, because it would be admitting that I doubt what I heard to be Gods word from the Bible. You said.. <<Don't tell God that, believe me. If you do, you will be telling him you doubt his words. I don't think it is wise to doubt God! I know you don't believe what I am saying, but it is the truth! >> Are you serious? Beleive you? Don't tell God? Are we talking about the All Knowing Creater and Sustainer? And are we also talking about you, a limited creature, Created by the All Knowing Creater and Sustainer. I don't think me telling or not telling God does anything. He knows what is in my heart and thoughts. I question anything and everything in this World. The world by God's creation and direction is inhabited by the Great Deceiver. God is not in or of this world, He is the Creator and sustainer. The creator of a clay pot is not the pot. The form of the clay pot is from the ideas of the creator. The pot may come and go. The idea remains as long as the creator of the pot remains. God is eternal, all knowing, and all powerful. I have no doubts about it. To say that I am doubting God, because I question you or your book (which is not one book, but at least 70 contradicting versions of a text that includes all kinds of literature besides words attributed to God), is blasphemy. Heed your own advice brother. Have Peace
