No, YZ, DELL is in a different situation, more touch and go. MSFT gave positive forward guidance today, analysts were impressed. DELL has yet to do so. Technically DELL is hovering about its 50-day ema, and it's momentum is non-positive with indications of going negative.

Fundamentally DELL should be fine this earnings report, but as usual things will depend on forward guidance. With IT budgets diverted to address yr2k fixes and INTC's server chips delayed until 2000, it is not clear how DELL will maintain its aggressive quarter over quarter growth in '99. DELL computers are yr2k compliant so people will not have to replace their old PCs, only if they wish to. And to transition into the high-end enterprise market, DELL's current business and customer service model will have to be modified.
