Mardy, Re "We describe our acquisition strategy as a "string of pearls" approach. It focuses on small to mid-sized firms that are leading innovators."

Do you think QUALCOMM is a pearl? It seems that at current prices ERICY could pick up a bargain. Of course Lucent and others might bid, but there seems to be an opportunity for them to circumvent all the IP negotiations, and get straight into implementing a non-vapourwear W-CDMA and cdma2000 as well. If they can con people into thinking the Texas case will go their way and make an offer beforehand, they might minimize the price they have to pay.

It is quite likely that they could pay around $100 and nab The Q! before anyone works out the revenue stream that will give ERICY. Many Q shareholders have been pummelled and I suspect have accepted that their company is not worth that much.

I'd curse under my breath at having had it pinched from me at a cut price, but that's the breaks if shareholders undervalue their company.
