It's nice to see recovery in the sector...

TER is up nicely from a bottom of 15, almost 100% in a
very short time.

ASYT said in CC that 1) Sept qtr operating loss was in effect overstated by about 16c (my calc) due to one time items buried in CGS and SGA,--2) Dec qtr revenue will now be higher then Sept qtr (high single digit growth is current crystall ball) which is an improvement over what they said last month in the eps warning (flat to down for Dec). Rev trend now rising sequentually. They expect their btb to go back over 1 this qtr.. --3) Break even in Mar qtr ---4) ASYT spent 6c on legal bills for the suit against Jenopic in Sept qtr.which soon will stop as trial is in April 99. ----overall, the outlook going forward was more upbeat than suggested in their Sept warning and no doubt one of the reasons for the sharp selloff was the then projection that the Dec qtr could well be worse. Not any more.
