Mark,How about a whole bunch of good reasons:
-a good growth rate
-they are now really making money
-key products to a key industry...internet infastructure
-very low institutional ownership very key here only 17%
-lots of shares available
-hedge fund in a very exposed postion
-the boss is doing a thon this is not a jest folks
-overall market has moved up which should allow ifmx to make a move

Mark

There is a big guys game and there is only so much room.
There is DB2, Oracle, SQL Server. Then, Sybase/Informix, ...
Plus a bunch of smaller, not-mainline vendors. Infromix used
to be #2 in servers.

Being the tail-end does not help. No one wants to acquire them.
So ? Informix's task is cut out for it - it has to fight it out.
I am not expecting a 5x here. All the company has done is
turned to black which is fine but there are a ton of companies
that are in black and their stocks just mark the time.

Regards
Dinesh
