<<*ERP vendors are continuing to expand market presence by offering new applications such as supply chain management, sales force automation, customer support, and human resources>>

Well.....PSFT already has HR and SCM and no plans for SFA or Customer Support software. The SFA market is huge. PSFT needs to come up with something....IMHO. I just don't see how these partnreships are going to do much to increase PSFT's revenues.

The only benefit I can see to PSFT is that when they run into a competitive situation for a complete ERP solution which also requires SFA/CIS (the vendors who have these products will make this an issue once they have a product to offer)PSFT will be able to say they have a solution, thus they won't be eliminated from the deal for lack of a complete solution.

Robert,

37% annual growth for ERP from AMR sound quite astounding to me. If I recall right, AMR said something like 24% ERP growth a short while ago.

Upon which change would such a vast growth exaggeration be based?
